Just a quickie.....

I am so sticking busy at work this week that I don't have time to read everyone's blog, much less update mine!

Had another run in the the Nasty Neighbors yesterday. She threated to call the police if my daughter and the other neighbor's kids didn't stop calling her daughter names. She has the story a little backwards, it was her kids calling my kid & other neighbor's kids names. & I don't think she wants to call the police, they might then find out about her husband's "dealings" out of his house. Hey when someone has a lot of short-term visitors at their house, what would you think of? Back to yesterday, I don't care for some hot headed female swearing at my 12 year old daughter who was just defending her little sister. My kids may not always get along with each other, but they'll be damned it anyone else picks on their sibling! The Nasty Female Neighbor told Gomer that she was going to watch for me to come home and then come over & set me straight. Gomer told her to go ahead, we didn't care. She never showed up. The Great Neighbor & I were outside for almost an hour after I got home and then she came in and was over for about another hour. The Nasty Neighbor never showed up. The Great Neighbor's hubby called me last night to tell me if I have any problems with the Nasty Neighbors to send them next door & he would handle it all for me.

Gotta get back to work!

Saturday we (my girls & I) drove to Fremont to get gas, yes I drive 15 miles to the next town to get gas- it's cheaper other there like 15 cents per gallon cheaper!, and I had a few things at Wal*Mart to pick up. As always I am looking around while driving- I like to check out the landscape. We had just gotten into Fremont, we were on the same road as the Fairgrounds, just before the High School. On the west side of the road there is an old brick church- very nice looking. I'm driving along, looking around and just what do my eyes behold? An old man dropping trou! His pants were around his knees and he was squatting in front of the bushes! This man was pooing on the church's bushes! I couldn't believe it. All I could do was point and say " EEEWWW", Beanie saw it too and her reaction was the same. Gomer totally missed it. When Beanie & I finally recovered from the initial shock, all we could do was laugh. I told Gomer "He must have thought God pooed on his day so he was going to poo on God's bushes!" That sent Beanie into more fits of laughter. Then on our way to church that night, driving through Newaygo I see a guy in a parking lot doing up his pants. I tell my girls "Geeze, I've seen way too many men either in the process of taking down or putting on their pants today!" Gomer's reply "Gee, I miss everything!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUCHESS!!!

Here is your birthday cake I would have made for you if we lived closer together. Let me tell you it is yummy! I really did make it this weekend and it is all gone. My boss ate the last piece yesterday. It's made with brownies, cream cheese & strawberries. All my favorites! But it's not nearly as yummy as the Black Bottom Peanut Butter Pie I made for Sunday (atleast that is what Sherry says). Sherry literaly licked her plate clean! Her son gave her the strangest look too, it was pretty funny!

Anyways, I hope your day is a good one. Have fun tonight with the girls, I really wish I could have made it. But I'm telling ya- the commute to work tomorrow would have been a bitch!
